Leader’s Report for Kairos Outside #5
God showered us all with so many blessings!! We saw 9 guests become on fire for Jesus!! Seeing the changes in our guests from the time they arrived until when they left was such a great blessing to all who were present!! Including the staff at Spencer Lake Christian Center! They even made sure to let us know they would love to have us back. Lol
I have to admit I was a bit disheartened at first about this Weekend when things beyond control took some of our volunteers off of the final team of volunteers, however as I put my trust in our Lord God I found we were perfectly capable and equipped by Him to carry on to minister to our guests. They were all fantastic!! We could feel His presence and were truly blessed as we went through the setup, the activities, the music, the talks, and the heartfelt discussions. Words cannot describe it!
I can say that those of you in the Christian community who chose not to attend the Walking in Love service or the Closing moments really missed out on seeing God at work. We had a few people who did choose to sacrifice family time to come see what the hype is all about and show their love and support for the guests. They left feeling so blessed to have made the choice to be there. I hope in the future many more of you will make the choice to come see God at work. There were so many tears of joy that the next day we just had to sing praises to God so joyfully and loud!! It was awesome!!
The outpouring of prayers, agape items and financial support are more than appreciated to help make the Weekend possible! We now have 9 more women who are willing to go on and share the love of Jesus with family and friends. Several of them have said they will be helping with this ministry as it continues to grow. Amen!!
