Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood around the world. After you have suffered a little while, the God
of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you. (1 Peter 5:8-10)

It has been grieving my heart to know of so many people these days who are experiencing sufferings in various ways who have no hope in the Lord. Many more are suffering while incarcerated because they don’t know the love, mercy and
salvation. The same with their families. The hope we have in Christ, knowing that our sufferings are only temporary is something we need to be sharing with those who don’t know our Lord and the love He has for them.
For 50 years Kairos Prison Ministry International has followed the Lord’s guidance in changing the lives of thousands of people!! God’s hope has been conveyed to
them through the hands, feet and testimonies of thousands of volunteers through the years. So many God moments have been witnessed by volunteers and guests alike over the years and they won’t be stopping any time soon.
Many exciting things are happening this year in celebration for the 50th Annual Conference!! Federal prisons are very close to opening their doors all across the US to have the Kairos Inside program start up. Yes, that includes WI so volunteers willing to sacrifice their time to serve the Lord will be needed. Praise God for placing a former Kairos graduate in the director’s office who knows the value of the Kairos Inside program!!
Praise be to the Lord!!
• Praise God that a few ladies with the Kairos Inside Ellsworth Advisory Council have been able to meet with another Kairos Inside women’s team in another state to learn more and will be allowed to observe a Kairos Inside Weekend in the near future!
• Praise God for guidance as the Kairos Outside Advisory Council gears up for a more exciting experience with a booth at Lifest in Oshkosh July 9-11, 2026.
• Praise God for guidance as the Kairos Outside Advisory Council works on plans for their 10th Kairos Outside Weekend on Oct. 23-25, 2026.
• Praise God for the Kairos Outside reunion that happened on April 11th in Stevens Point. Those who were able to attend were blessed!
These are just a few things we are so thankful for!

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? (Romans 10:14)

Please share with them our Vision: A community spiritually freed from the effects of imprisonment reaching all impacted by incarceration, through the love, hope and faith found in Jesus Christ.
And our Mission: The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth

We have so many things we are thankful for and that is due to all you prayer warriors!! We continue here with a short list of needs we ask you to prayer about. The rest of our needs are something that God knows so we ask for those to be prayed for as well.
1. Volunteers to come forward to serve in open spots on the State Committee, Advisory Councils and Weekends to happen soon.
2. Finalization on a Memorandum of Understanding to happen for the Federal Prisons to begin opening the doors for Kairos Inside to start transforming more lives.
3. The Wardens, superintendents and chaplains to open their hearts to the Kairos Inside program that will make a difference in their institutions to make them safer.
4. The Lord to lead women whose lives have been impacted by their loved ones being incarceration to make the decision to attend the next Kairos Outside Weekend on Oct 23-25, 2026.
5. The funds to continue to help pay for devotionals that are sent to 5 institutions and the new program manuals that we will be needed to continue the work as God has led.
6. Healing for volunteers who are experiencing sicknesses.
7. The Lord’s guidance with struggles happening in the various Cursillo and 4th Day communities who also need volunteers.
