Kairos Prison Ministry WI
Call to Prayer

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus; and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven; (Acts 9:3) KJV

Have you ever experienced an “aha” moment that changed your whole perspective on your situation? I believe the scripture above was more than an “aha” moment for Paul and more of a life changing moment. They tend to happen when we least expect them or are so busy doing what we believe is right. Then the Lord uses various ways to get our attention back on Him and let Jesus take the wheel.

I spent some time doing just that these past few months. I let myself get side tracked fervently looking for a safe place to relocate my family only to keep having Him shut doors. This had me quite discouraged at first and then I realized I was looking  where I wanted to be and not listening to where God wanted me to be. It took nearly two months before I finally was shown the location He wanted me to be.

Please don’t be discouraged when this world tries to get you down, taxes your health, or gets you side tracked with business. We just need to look up for that light from heaven and through God’s Word, do what He tells us to do even if it just means taking a break from all the business.

It was great to attend the celebration at the 50th Annual Conference!! Check out Kairos Prison Ministry to catch a glimpse and read the Praise section to hear about a few of the great happenings. Also, there are changes to come in the structure of Kairos Prison Ministry at the beginning of the year. I will tell you more about them in the coming months.

Praise the Lord!!

• Praise God that talks are still happening between Kairos Inside Ellsworth Advisory Council and those in leadership at that institution. A Weekend and future prayer and share group are getting closer to happening. Of course, in God’s time.

• Praise God for the Kairos Outside Weekend #10 team! They have just had a very successful weekend long team formation meeting as they gear up to minister to 22 guests so far. The Weekend will happen on Oct 23-25, 2026 at Spencer Lake Christian Center near Waupaca.

• Praise God for sending contacts for guests and volunteers to the Kairos booth at Lifest this past July!
• Praise God for opening the door for a team to go inside the Federal Prison in Oxford!! We have a memorandum of understanding with them that allows for food to be brought in.
